Beebe Ball Raises Funds for Cardiac & Vascular Services

The 2017 Beebe Ball, hosted by Beebe Medical Foundation, raised more than $170,000 for Beebe’s Cardiac & Vascular Services. This annual event brings the community and the medical providers together to enjoy an evening of celebration and fundraising for healthcare services.

Beebe Medical Foundation Forms New Charitable Gift Planning Advisory Council

The Beebe Medical Foundation recently formed a new Charitable Gift Planning Advisory Council to support their efforts in the community. The council is made up of two dozen area professionals who work in charitable gift planning, including estate planning attorneys, financial advisors, CPAs, insurance representatives, and funeral directors.

“Many hospitals and healthcare systems have Planned Giving Councils in place, and as Beebe embarks on its next generation of care, we are proud to have the support of this new group,” said Beebe Medical Foundation Gift Planning Officer Diane Barlow.

The Beebe Medical Foundation hosted its Annual 1916 Club Members’ Dinner at Baywood Clubhouse in early October. More than 160 guests enjoyed an elegant evening in the upper Ballroom where Jeffrey M. Fried, FACHE, President and CEO, Beebe Healthcare, and Judy L. Aliquo, President and CEO, Beebe Medical Foundation, shared news of Beebe’s expansion plans for the Lewes, Rehoboth, and Millville areas.

Rehoboth Jazz Festival Pledges $100,000 to Beebe Healthcare’s Tunnell Cancer Center over Next Five Years

The Delaware Celebration of Jazz, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, which produces the Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival has supported Tunnell Cancer Center for many years, and to date has raised more than $77,000. This year the Board of Directors announced a 5-year, $100,000 pledge for Tunnell Cancer Center. This will support plans for a new cancer center in Millville, which is part of Beebe Healthcare’s capital campaign.
