New Pergola, Engraved Brick Walkway Highlights Lewes Campus Changes

Beebe Medical Foundation and community members donated toward the bricks, engraved with names, that line the new walkway under the pergola at the corner of Savannah Road and 4th Street in Lewes. The additions to the corner of the Margaret H. Rollins Lewes Campus are part of a transformational $10 million gift given by the Ma-Ran Foundation, which also renamed the campus, now known as the Margaret H. Rollins Lewes Campus.

How A Holiday Rollover Can Be a Great Way to Give

Thinking of giving to Beebe Healthcare this holiday season? One of the most popular ways to give to is an IRA charitable rollover. Giving Back is the Greatest Gift of All

Winston Churchill famously said, “You make a living by what you get. You make a life by what you give.”

This message is at the crux of who we are as humans. It speaks to the community mindedness that we have as humans – even when some of those old traditions of giving back may seem to have disappeared.

At Beebe Healthcare, we are fortunate to have volunteers who help us in many facets of what we do. From the surgery center to sitting with patients at the Margaret H. Rollins Lewes Campus to selling crafts and managing the Beebe Treasure Chest

My parents would often say, “it is better to give than receive.” As I have grown older, I do agree it is better to give than receive, but I must admit I still enjoy receiving thoughtful gifts around the holidays or my birthday.

Honoring “The Queen of First Street”

One of the most enjoyable ways to raise money for our not-for-profit healthcare system is by accepting donations from those who have received excellent care here at Beebe. Sometimes, they are giving to recognize care they received, other times they give in honor or memory of a loved one. The latter was the case with our recent meeting and donation from the Caggiano family.
