A New State-of-the-Art Cardiology Lab in Lewes

Beebe Healthcare’s Cardiac & Vascular Services recently opened a new interventional cardiology lab at the Margaret H. Rollins Lewes Campus.

This new state-of-the-art lab adds more than 1,000-square-feet of procedural space for the cardiac and vascular team.

Dr. Malick Islam, electrophysiologist, and his team recently performed the first procedures in the new lab.

New Pergola, Engraved Brick Walkway Highlights Lewes Campus Changes

Beebe Medical Foundation and community members donated toward the bricks, engraved with names, that line the new walkway under the pergola at the corner of Savannah Road and 4th Street in Lewes. The additions to the corner of the Margaret H. Rollins Lewes Campus are part of a transformational $10 million gift given by the Ma-Ran Foundation, which also renamed the campus, now known as the Margaret H. Rollins Lewes Campus.

When you first meet John Marchetti, you realize he is a man of intention and purpose. In 1989, when the Berlin Wall was “torn down,” John was working for the Department of Energy (DOE) Office of National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA).
