INVEST IN THE FUTURE OF HEALTH AND WELLBEING IN SUSSEX COUNTY
To meet the growing needs of our community, Beebe Healthcare is embarking on an ambitious plan to expand its facilities, its scope, its community wellness programs and its award-winning team of care-providing professionals. We need the community to support Beebe as we create and deliver the Next Generation of Care.
WHAT YOUR GIFT SUPPORTS
A NEW SPECIALTY SURGICAL HOSPITAL
Expanding on our Route 24 campus in Rehoboth, Beebe will develop a Specialty Surgical Hospital for short-stay inpatient and increased outpatient procedures. This world-class, destination campus will include robotic surgery procedures.
EMERGENCY AND CANCER CARE IN THE SOUTH COASTAL REGION
To better serve the needs of our patients, Beebe will establish a new health campus in Millville to include a freestanding emergency department and a second location for Tunnell Cancer Center—expanding access to comprehensive medical oncology, chemotherapy, and radiation services for area residents.
A NEW HEART AND VASCULAR CENTER
Our community receives award-winning cardiac and vascular care at Beebe, ranging from heart catheterizations to open heart surgery. Construction has started on a new hybrid operating room on the Lewes Campus. We are also building a third Electrophysiology and Interventional Cardiac Lab in Lewes to meet the increasing demand for these services.
THE MARGARET H. ROLLINS PAVILION
The Margaret H. Rollins Pavilion will provide new private patient rooms and a dedicated Women’s and Children’s Health Center on Beebe’s Lewes campus. Beebe will also convert all current patient rooms to private accommodations. Greater privacy for patients and their doctors will result in improved recovery time, greater patient safety, and more positive outcomes.
