Illustration Paints Future of Beebe's Main Entrance

Expect Beebe Healthcare to ring in the New Year with a new entrance. Beebe is proud to present the final illustration showing the new West Entrance of the Margaret H. Rollins Lewes Campus.

These upgrades are paving the way for the Lewes Campus’ new front door. The campus will now be easier to navigate for patients and visitors, while also making the entrance more visible to improve the drop-off and pick-up experience.

Thanks to the transformational $10 million gift from the Ma-Ran Foundation, patients, visitors, and community members will see a more defined main entrance with a new lobby near the parking garage.

A new look has already taken shape at the hospital’s east entrance that includes more green space, a pergola, and additional parking.

The entrance project is anticipated to be completed in January.

“We are so grateful for The Ma-Ran Foundation’s historic, generous gift of $10 million gift that is transforming the Margaret H. Rollins Lewes campus,” said Judy Aliquo, President & CEO of Beebe Medical Foundation. “In addition to that investment, many donors have supported the hybrid operating room and the interventional cardiology lab. Two lead gifts were generously donated from the Tunnell family and Charlie Burton for those projects. We are grateful for the inspiring generosity from all of our donors who have supported the ‘I Believe in Beebe’ campaign.”

Beebe’s new interventional cardiology lab opened this summer.

This new state-of-the-art lab adds more than 1,000-square-feet of procedural space for the cardiac and vascular team. The medical team is able to schedule more procedures and have access to the best equipment systems, while patients are being taken care of in a more efficient and streamlined space.

The interventional cardiology lab construction is part of a larger project at the hospital in Lewes, which will also add a new hybrid operating room. The hybrid operating room will allow Beebe’s vascular surgeons and surgical teams to perform minimally invasive and open procedures in a highly advanced surgical operating theater. The hybrid operating room will open early in 2020.
