Leo Eschbach, DO: Caring for Women in Our Community
When you ask Dr. Leo Eschbach, board certified obstetrics and gynecology physician, what he loves about his job, his answer is easy – the people and the community.
“This is a close-knit community and while Beebe itself is small, big things happen here. We are making innovative decisions and looking toward the future constantly,” Dr. Eschbach says. “And, I stay here because of this community and because of the pride I have in caring for my patients in this community.”
Dr. Eschbach and Dr. Steven Berlin are both joining Beebe Medical Group in January. They will be practicing in the same location at 1535 Savannah Road, however the practice will now be called Beebe Women’s Healthcare – Bayside.
The physicians will specialize in providing gynecological care for women of all ages, with a special interest in surgical procedures, including minimally invasive surgery and laparoscopic hysterectomy.
Beebe Healthcare is proud to be the first hospital in Delaware and on the Delmarva Peninsula – and one of only 15 in the United States – to be named a Center of Excellence in Women’s Health by the American Institute of Minimally Invasive Surgery (AIMIS). In addition, both Dr. Berlin and Dr. Eschbach have been recognized and accredited in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery by AIMIS.
